You don’t want to feel disappointment or frustration or stress -again- so what do you do?

How do you deal with your emotions? Or do you?

If you’re like most people you’re just trying NOT to feel.

So, even though you tell yourself that heath is a priority you find yourself standing at the kitchen island shoveling in chips at the end of a stressful day.

Or plunked down on the couch binge watching “The Last of Us” instead of going for a walk because you’ve had it with what’s going on at work and you deserve a break.

Or that one glass of wine turned into a bottle & now your plan to prioritize sleep has gone completely sideways. All because the conversation with your friend about her promotion has you wondering WTH you’re doing with your life?!

This is numbing out.

We’re trying to buffer ourselves against what we’re feeling. Because we sure as hell don’t want to feel it. AND whatever you’re doing to avoid feels so much better…for a little while.

But, where is that getting you?


Stuck in a cycle of avoiding, beating yourself up, abusing your body/mind/relationship/bank account and then likely a heaping pile of shame on top.

Are you ready to get out of the cycle?

You won’t get there by strong arming yourself.

It’s going to require you to allow the emotion AND find some kindness for yourself.
