Dream Killers

What stops you from going after your dreams?

I asked this in my Facebook group recently. The responses ranged from not feeling good enough, to lack of confidence, family obligations, and fear of both success and failure.

Here is what is interesting, all of the responses were based in fear.

Fear of not being enough, of what will happen, of judgement...you get the picture.

What I shared with the women in my group and what I want you to hear loud and clear is that all of that fear is BS!

Our brains like the status quo. It wants to keep you safe so it feeds you all kinds of garbage to keep you stuck right where you are-not taking any risks.

You are enough, heck you are more than enough! You were BORN worthy. None of us would look at a baby and think it was less than. You were taught that BS and you can unlearn it.

If you want to know how to start, ask yourself what is the worst thing that could happen if you go after your dream? Let’s go there. What is the worst case scenario. Bringing it into the light makes it less scary.

And if that worst thing did happen could you come back from it? Hell yes! Could you come back stronger for the experience? Hell yes!

The way you gain confidence is by taking action, so what is one small step you could take today?

Maybe you could you catch yourself smack talking you? Can you try talking to yourself a little more like you would a friend? Can you look back at your life and notice the accomplishments and that you are capable of hard and great things?

You are a warrior and I don’t want anything to hold you back, least of all you.

Leave a comment, tell me the one small step you are taking for you.
