Getting Familiar With Your Pattern - How to Get Started On Your Mindfulness Journey
When Pam was young she fantasized about getting married & having kids. She just knew that was going to make her HAPPY.
But, once she was married with kids it shifted to “I’ll be so happy when my kid sleeps through the night.”
Then it was “I’ll be so happy when I’m not being pulled between my professional obligations & being a mom.”
Pam was going to be waiting a damn long time for the “right thing” to come along & make her happy.
As we unpacked this in her 1:1 coaching sessions, she realized that there is no thing that will make her happy.
Her happiness is up to her.
The same is true for you.
Happiness is an inside job.

Is it warm, supportive, & understanding? Or is there a drill sergeant in there?!
How you talk to yourself matters.
But, first you have to quiet the chatter to HEAR how you’re actually talking to yourself.

Taking the time to slow your thoughts down and listen not only allows you insight, but also gives you a break from those relentless thoughts.
